With a few ingredients, you can easily elevate this simple shrimp ring into a festive centrepiece.
Classic shrimp ring, with a twist
Dress it
Gremolata is a mix of fresh herbs, lemon, and garlic. It’s also one of the easiest seafood condiments to make. Simply add the zest and juice of 1 lemon, 1 clove garlic, 1 bunch parsley (stems removed) and a pinch of each salt and pepper, plus a drizzle of olive oil, to a blender or food processor and combine. To make it extra festive, add fresh cranberries before blending.
Dip it
One of the best ways to enjoy a shrimp ring is to dip these cool crustaceans in a hot romesco-style sauce! (It also doesn't hurt that this sauce comes together in less than five minutes.) Using the cocktail sauce already provided with our Naturally Simple Cooked Pacific White Shrimp Ring, blend in a food processor with 1 jar drained roasted red peppers, 1 cup of almonds and 1 clove garlic. You can also add parsley, a squeeze of lemon juice, paprika and a splash of red wine vinegar to round out the flavour to your taste.
Make it an edible centrepiece
